Today is the big day- 33 weeks & 1 day
This morning over breakfast we got a big surprise. Today is Baby Day! I was contentedly eating my omelet and toast when the nurse came in and snatched away my tray. She told me my labs had come back and that my platelets had dropped to 122,000 down from 137,000. After the doctor and the perinatologist reviewed the labs as well as my entire chart they made the decision it's time to get the babies out. So today Kurt and I will become the proud parents of Sarah Grace, Jacob William, and Lucas Richard. We just snapped a few pics before we head down to Labor & Delivery. These are the last pics before the babies are here. I am 33 weeks and 1 day pregnant. As of this morning, I am 14 lbs. heavier than my pre-pregnancy weight. The babies are estimated to weigh between 4 1/2 and 5 lbs each. We shall see in a few hours!

ReplyDeleteCan't wait to meet the Trio! I hope to hold out as long as you did. All my testing last 2 days has shown I may be a new momma of micro preemies in 2 weeks. Lets hope my body holds strong. I do feel confident that my babies will survive tho, they just will be very small and in the hospital for a long time.

So exciting!!! I've been following your stay in the hospital, and I'm keeping all of you in my thoughts and prayers. I guess you've probably already met the little ones by now.
