There I was standing in line at Babies R Us trying to balance the giant box of Pampers (the biggest one in the store) with my other items, when I saw it out of the corner of my eye. It was a bright orange package with "SippiGrip" written on the outside. Suddenly I flashed back to last night's dinner and I started to feel my blood boil as I remember how I picked up their cups at least a dozen times per child. This product I see is a leash that tethers the sippy cup to the highchair, stroller, or whatever. I'm initially skeptical but it's only a few dollars so I'm willing to give it a try. But I'm only buying the one in case this is a bigger gimmick than a wipes warmer. I take it home and try it out. It's a miracle. At first the kiddos still attempted to toss their cups to the floor. But when the cups just hung there within reach instead of making that satisfying "thud", thereby mocking the defiant toddlers, the game lost its appeal. So the next day I went out and bought 6 more. You can never have enough of a genius invention! Now our meal time is much more enjoyable for mommy and daddy. Occasionally, one will still test the waters by tossing their cup, but it just stays on the side of the highchair like a loyal friend waiting to be pulled back into service.
